Dear Sir:

	I delivered your letter to Mr. Gramm as soon as he returned from Salt Lake City, and I presume you have received his reply. The correspondence has been made public through the press, and I herewith enclose copy of the same.

	Everything here is all right, and Mr. Gramm is inclined to go on and see you at Pittsburgh.

	Mr. Reed started out in the field yesterday, I will write you  fully in a few days.

	Enclosed find letter from Dept. of Interior in relation to location of fossil claims.
