Dear Sir:

	Your letter of the 3rd inst. at hand. I note what you say in reference to the surrender of the claim and will carry out your instructions. Of course I will say nothing to anyone leaving the matter for you to discuss at some future time.

	I will probably go to Cheyenne tomorrow (Saturday) or Monday. I have already written Mr. Reed not to come.
