Dr. Wortman has Informed me that thare [sic] is a Probability of your coming into this Country for a Short trip. Sometime about the middle of the Present month & that you will want Someone with an outfit to accompany you. I can furnish my Services & a Suitable outfit for 8.50 pr day to go any where you may choose. I am at liberty to refer you Either to Dr. Wortman or W. H. Reed as to my suitableness for such a trip. Should you desire my Services as Early a notice as soon as Possible will be of great convenience to me. I can furnish all necessary Camp & Equipage but it will be well for you to bring your own Sleeping Appliances.
