measures five feet. The other prospects have not been touched but judging from appearances they should turn out some good material. One of them contains a Stegosaurus (very rare) and the chances are good for a skeleton. The others have not been sufficiently opened to even guess the species. I have employed Reed's son Will to cook for us at $20.00 per month and board and this I think will be all the men we will require for the season. I have ordered 1000# plaster which we are sending for on this trip and we will have started taking out the bones before this letter reaches you. In view of the contemplated influx of Bone Hunters in the near future Reed and I will make a trip to the head of the "Troublesome" and look over some promising ground in that locality.
