Dear Dr. Holland,

	I enclose duplicate Bill of lading for the four cases containing casts of fossils for the Carnegie Museum, which have been shipped by S.S. "Minnetonka",

	As arranged with you, the cases have been consigned to the care of Messrs J.W. Hampton, Junr. & Co., 41 Broadway, New York; who have been instructed to forward them in bond  per P.R.R. to the Pittsburgh Custom House.

	The freight has been prepaid, and instructions have been given for the boxes
