Andrew Carnegie 2 East 91st Street New York January 25th, 1905. My dear Dr. Holland, So far as I can see, you have not acknowledged letter of December 30th, with reference to the Diplodocus function in London. In that letter, Mr. Carnegie offered a choice between the 2nd, 3rd, 9th or 12th of May. Mr. Carnegie has been advised that the Iron and Steel Institute Meeting, which governs his sailing date, has been postponed, so that now he cannot fulfill any engagements in London before Tuesday, the 9th, so that the 9th, 12th and 16th now are at your disposal for day engagements. Mr. Carnegie hopes the function can be arranged for one of those days. Very truly yours, Jas. Bertram Dr. Wm. J. Holland Carnegie Museum, Pittsburg, Pa. and Jan. 27/05.
