Enclosed I am sending you translation of the letter which you gave me last week and I hope it will cover the points you wished to express. I have made a few changes in construction since it would not have been idiomatic German otherwise and I have tried to change the expression for the Diplodocus, in order to avoid a too frequent repetition of the same word. Once I called it "Skelett", and in case you do not approve of this term, you can easily change it to "des Abgusses".



I have been very busy ever since last Saturday and that accounts for the delay. The holiday came very handy and, if you mail the letter on Saturday, it will go by the fast German boat on Tuesday next.
