Dear Sir:



Our home office in Trieste write us in reference to the Diplodocus which we carried free on the last trip of the LAURA east, that they understand that two of your workmen from the Institute will be detailed to go to Europe to set up this specimen, and ask me if such be the case that we secure these two men as passengers. The journey via Trieste is very convenient for Vienna, although the rail and ocean combined take somewhat longer than the northern route. We have a sailing on the 25th, which, of coourse, would be too soon after receipt of this letter, and another on the 6th of October - also later sailings, and we enclose our mailing list.
