Carnegie to present His Majesty the Emperor with a replica of the diplodocus, I beg to say that I have just received fromt he Foreign Office a letter informing me that it has pleased his Majesty to order to have the diplodocus placed in the big Conference Hall of the Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg. At the same time I am instructed to ask you kindly to communicate for all further details concerning this matter directly with Mr. Th. N.
