A study of the matter made with local representatives of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company in Pittsburgh show that the best way to route the car will be:



From Pittsburgh to Cincinnati - Pennsylvania Lines or B. & O. Ry. From Cincinnati  to New Orleans - Southern Railway, or Louisville & Nashville R.R.

From New Orleans to Alice - Southern Pacific R.R. 

From Alice to Laredo - Texas Mexican Railway.
