Your bid of October 15th is before me and I write to say that I am inclined to accept the same, and will accept the same upon condition that you agree to mark each of the boxes and the lids corresponding to them with stencilled numbers so that we may not be put to it when we come to pack to measure the boxes and ascertain which is which.  There ought to be some mode of identification.  The simplest way is to reproduce the numbers that are given on the lid.



If this arrangement is staisfactory please take the work in at once and deliver the boxes at the Paleontological Laboratory in the basement of the Museum, entrance by way of Mawhinney Street.
