Pittsburgh Box Company Gentlemen: I require in order to pack a collection of specimens to be forwarded to Mexico, thirty six boxes of varying sizes, as per accompanying list, the dimensions given on this list all being inside measurements. These boxes should be made of seven-eights inch stuff, yellow pine, good and strong; they should be battened on the corners at both ends and on the bottom ends; they should also be battend once about the middle in case of the boxes marked with one asterisk. Please let me have an estimate on making these boxes as quickly as possible as I wish to begin packing the collection of specimens, which they are to contain.
