Mexico via Brownsville or El Paso, preferably Brownsville as the shorter route.  The American railways, I understand will when the matter is settled give favorable consideration to hauling the car from Pittsburgh to Brownsville free of charge.  I think I can arrange that.  If the American railways will send this car through free of charge as far as the frontier I should think Mexico would be pleased to do the same thing on their side of the line.



Though these boxes are will packed, nevertheless somewhat fragile and liable to be broken,  I shrink from sending them by New York, which I would  have to do, as I cannot send them by river to New Orleans, as I thought I could.  Shipment to New York would involve the following:
