My dear Col. Church; In connection with the announcements which will be made today in relation to the activities of the Institute it might be proper to allude to the following: At the very moment we are here assembled their is being loaded at the East Liberty Station a replica of the great dinosaur Diplodocus carnegiei, similar to the those which Mr. Carnegie gave to the various national museums of foreign lands. This replica is provided through the kindness of Mrs. Andrew Carnegie and the Carnegie Corporation of New York at her suggestion. It is a gift to the Republic of Mexico and will be installed in the National Museum of our sister republic to the south. "As a token of American good-will to Mexico, the Minister of Culture in Mexico has said " This gift can only be likened to the 'good-will flight made to our country by Co. Lindbergh." W.J. Holland
