The replica is nearly done and we will soon be ready to pack, but our Mexican friends are in trouble because they have no place to put the Diplodocus at present. They say, however, that Mrs. Carnegie's gift will be a mighty stimulus toward the erection of certain new buildings for the museum, which, as I understand it, they are proposing to build at cost of about $1,000,000.  So you see the Diplodocus does good.  It acts as a stimulus.  I wish it could relieve my "tummy ache."
