Madison limestone does not occur at the base somewhere.  I want to get out into that western country but am at present involved in the Waverly question, and work upon the Appalachian region, so that the prospect though agreeable is distant.



I send some frauks for your use and take the liberty to suggest extra caution in wrapping up and bundling together.  My own experience had been that fossils get handled rougher in the mails than by any other method of transportation.
