control forced Douglass and I to separate at Medona.  He has gone down to the ranch, and I have come  here to hunt invertebrates.  He will join me here in a few days. 



is plenty warm here now, but not uncomfortable.  I hope the Pittsburgh climate is more agreeable than when we left.
