Dear Dr. Holland



I am about to abandon this country on account of magnificent distances and enormous expenses.  I have just had success enought to make it disagreeably discovering.  Have found  some beautiful specimens that I much dislike to leave and I hope the opportunity may yet come for   them.

It is haying and harvest time here and we cannot get a livery rig and   and feed them for less than seven or eight dollars per day and we can't   that the 

may be new, and an  may be.  I hardly think the  are.  If I have enough money when I return I may  them in, If   be might find much even  of interest:
