I received your letter of July 14th on my return from Dinosaur hunting trip and was glad to hear from you again.  I am sure that you will be anxious to hear of our   so I will write to you without further delay.



Though we found fossil mammals here from the first- the earliest collections were not exactly satisfactory.  Our   ,however,  on the increase until now I think that we have as good a collection as has ever has ever been made here that is judging by verbal reports and this literature.  we are working in several level;s and are on  of which evidently has not previously yielded fossils; so I think we are
