Jensen, Utah, April 30, 1910 Dr. Wm. J. Holland Carnegie Museum Pittsburgh, Pa. My dear Dr. Holland:- Your letter from Mack recd. Mr. Ainge goes home this evening, I think so I will drop you a line. Tail of No. 1 still going on. Have uncovered to about 34th caudal. Behind it we are getting bones which may be skull. Disarticulated but apparently complete. Rock Mighty hard. I have written out monthly statement for April but want to copy and send itemized acct & receipts from Coop. Have rect but it includes personal items and have to send for another. I bought a wagon in Vernal. Have to give and have made out check for $107.50. Having harness made. Price $47.50. Haven't paid yet. Mr. Logan in the Uinta Ry. Station in Vernal they say has a team of 1400 [sic] horses, good to drive as well as work. Said to be good in every way. he has no use for them. I did not ask him price and havent seen them. His man says he wants $400. Haven't seen anything I want. I assure you we will push the work. We have been steadily pushing it and if we can do more consistent with safety will surely do so. The rock is mighty hard where we are working but things are coming out nicely. We have no desire to spend another winter here. In haste, Earl Douglass
