My dear Stewart:

I have just drawn check for Sixteen Hundred Dollars ($1600.00) to Mr. John Rasmussen for payment on freight to Watson. This is based on weights of loads which are not accurate.

The load weights aggregated 187 585 lbs @ 90c per Cwt = 1688.27. As these weights overrun I have paid him only $1600. The balance to be paid when accurate car weights are made. When we ship from Watson.
