	I have not yet sumed [sic] up all the account for this month. Of course there was a good deal of extra expense in shipping, but I think now that with the usual allowance deposited the first of February I will be able to handle the matter. I will of course depend on your depositing it.

	There has been a little delay about completing title to our Carnegie Museum Placer Claim but I hope that we shall be able very soon to get the matter fixed up.

	The weather is gradually moderating here. Not much snow.

I sent Dr. Holland lists of numbers of boxes in cars a few days ago, and am now preparing list of contents of boxes, and list of specimen-numbers not previously sent.

	I also sent list of boxes containing portions of No. 1.
