that we need thorough, careful measurements of the Uinta Deposits from bottom to top, or the thing is going to get so terribly "balled up" that it will take years to straighten it out. If I return to the Museum and take up my collections there, no data regarding the Uinta will be amiss. I made detailed section of the 600 ft (and over) of strata in which I collected, and wherever possible fixed the level of the specimens, so when I do the work I think I can do it scientifically, but I have not the measurements of the underlying and overlying beds, and
