	I intended to write you a very brief letter as I have been ill for a couple of days, but got interested. I think I will be all right in a day or two more.

	We are having beautiful weather. Have had no bad weather except when we were shipping. There is no snow here but we can see some on the north slopes south of here. Gawin is well and Mrs. Douglass health is much improved. We thank you for remembering us during the holidays.
