I think I would not substitute any name which suggests a Monotreme as all who have expressed any opinion to me think it is not at all` related to the Monotremes but is nearly allied to the Chrysochloridae. The general contour of the skull is surely very much like some of the living members of that family, but they all utterly ignore the radical difference in the teeth which, so far as I know, are different from any known Insectivore living or extinct.
