November 11, 1914 Mr. Earl Douglass, Jensen, Utah. My Dear Douglass:- Your letter of November 5 has just received by me. Your request to have one hundered and fifty dollars deposited was anticipated by me. I having deposited two hundred dollars to your account about the first of this month. Mr. Stewart has received instructions from me to write fully about this thing to you. I note what you say about keeping down expenses. I hope you will endeavor to do this, at the same time accomplishing good work. What you write about having discovered the lower jaw of an alleged Brontosaurus is of the very highest interest. I hope that you will succeed in getting out this jaw, preserving every portion of it as perfectly as possible, and would suggest that if it is possible you get this out at once; carefully pack the same so that it will sustain no damages, and forward it to us. We are engaged now in mounting the skeleton of our No. 1 in the exhibiton hall. The platforms have been built, the uprights made, and the verebrae are being assembled. The placing of the head on this beast is of course the great question. I wish you would indicate to me with great accuracy, in an outline sketch, where you found this skull in relation to the other parts of this skeleton.
