He must have been a giraffe-dinosaur. The vertebrae as far as we can see them look very Diplodocus-like. Unfortunately I have not Marsh's monograph here and have to trust to memory. I have wondered if this is not Barosaurus. I am not sure, but I think this is part of No. 165, which has such a perfect tail with all chevrons in place nearly to the whip, and which has such a very slender femur. Whether the anterior portion of the neck and associated skull, which I have just mentioned, belong to 165 or not I cannot say yet. I mentioned some time ago that No. 165 had helped
