January 8, 1915 Mr. Earl Douglass Jensen Utah My Dear Mr. Dougalss I received from the Oakland Savings and Trust Company your book balanced to date. I notice that on your account submitted to us for the month of August you credit the Museum with $250.00, and start your financial statement from there. On July 16, 1914, you drew a check payable to yourself for $27.87. The balance, I believe, in the Field Account at that time was $37.27. I have no voucher for this check which I mention. Will you kindly explain it to me, so that the book may be kept right. I am. Yours sincerely, Assistant to Director
