My dear Stewart,

Would you kindly let me know the rate you had to pay on last shipment of fossils from Watson to Pittsburg.

The General Freight and Passenger Agent of the Denver and Salt Lake R.R. has written to me about shipping from here to Craig by Auto trucks and from there to Denver by the D.& S.L.R.R., and as the distance is much less I believe we could get a considerable reduction or saving in freight.

They could come right up to our loading place with trucks and good road all the way.
