My dear Stewart:-

Will you please deposit $300 to pay expenses for March?

Mr. Rasmussen has not yet handed in his bill for hauling freight. I can notify you when he hands it in or you can deposit $325 and I think I can handle it without notifying you.

Some time ago we "broke the backbone" of the most difficult part of the excavating and since then the bones have been coming out rapidly and we have had to make hurry up calls for plaster. Have gotten three tons recently but had the funds and it is paid for.
