My dear Stewart,

I sent my report for April soon after the first and the vouchers followed in a few days. We have to trust to Providence and Chance to get mail and mail letters here. Between the two, however we get our mail quite frequently.

We are getting along splendidly with the work. Have been getting a lot of good material in boxes lately. Since we "broke the jam" it has come out fast.

While two are finishing work laid out I am having two do some prospecting in bottom of cut to see if we can get rest of skeleton of the immensely long brute and the skull of Brontosaurus(?) which belongs with the big jaw I sent.
