gotten a skeleton of a species of Dolichorhinus. I have not heard whether or not it has been worked out or how it turned out. You could tell by writing to him. As I have said I cannot tell what development would unearth so it is hard to tell how much time it would take to recover the things there. I would make a rough guess that three men (two to work steadily and one to tend to camp work and help when not cooking etc.) would require two to four weeks to go back and uncover sufficient area to get out what is partly in sight. For the most part it is easy to save bones in field in solid blocks but on account of hardness of rock the work in the laboratory would be slow. but the boys there are used to that kind of a proposition.
