If you will just call Mr. Peterson to the office he will tell you all that is known of Dolichorhinus, show you restorations of skeleton and in pictures, and can tell you more about it, since I have given you this data, than any other man living or dead, as he knows more about the Uinta Formations than he does about Pittsburg. He can tell you also something of how desirable it would be to get a mounted skeleton of this animal. Skulls of Uinta Titanotheres are many but skeletons "excessively rare". Conditions at the quarry are now such that it ought not to take a very long time to see whether or not we have what we are searching prayerfully for. Thanking you for making the early deposit and for your encouraging interest I am Yours Truly, Earl Douglass
