My dear Dr. Holland:

I will ask you first to excuse the sanguine color of my ink as my pen got dry and I haven't any writing fluid here at the quarry.

It seems now that as we hoped we are going to get the skull of the Brontosaurus? which belongs with the mandible we sent in. Some bone is appearing in the side of the cut where we hoped to find the skull and among other things there is part of a jaw bone with large teeth like the others which we found. We cannot tell yet how much of the skull is there and may never know until you have worked it out in the
