of course, rare and we cannot expect to get them, while on the other hand one is always running onto something not noted before. We are on the border of two life zones and one or two others not far away, so collections ought to be fairly varied and be fairly representative of a vast region from which we, I believe have little in our Museum.

I have sent for a few traps and some ammunition, have prepared cyanide bottles etc. and if I do not hear from you before they come I propose to give Coin a few days trial on my own responsibility and try to meet it out of my appropriation.
