The tints of sky, water, earth and vegation are wonderful. I hope you have not made the last trip to what you, after your first trip prophesied would be a locus classicus in palaeontology.

Perhaps you have thought of the matter and acted on it but if not do you not think it best, to have a chemical analysis made of fossil bone from the quarry so as to put our case beyond dispute if we get a rehearing or review of the case? That, if no other evidence ought to settle the matter, and nothing but arbitrary stubbornness would keep us from our right.
