I judge, the thing to do would be to work out a skeleton or a large section of the quarry in relief and to build over it a solid, permanent, building for protection. This would be indeed a striking monument with a marvellous story to tell.

There is, I believe no harm in expressing a wish. I have long wished that I might stay in this region continuously until my work is done here. No richer field in my line is known. The results are almost astounding and it appears that we are yet some distance from the end of wonders. I am as familiar as anyone with the region and the experience which leads to success. I have my hand in, have excellent and experienced men. I am more efficient than ever before for this kind of work.
