but if I am not mistaken it would be difficult to get better skeletons from any formation. I think we have something to be proud of in these specimens. As nearly as I can judge there are two practically complete skeletons, besides four skulls and other bones. I may need to somewhat modify a former statement as to matrix which contains the bones. It is fine, solid rock, nearly all of it, and part, I think will work very nicely but around the skulls and some of the other bones there is some very hard material. The bones should be worked out entire as much as possible, not depending on "butchering" and patching. We obtained some specimens outside the quarry among which are some good turtles, which will interest Gilmore and furnish some specimens for exhibition.
