Jensen, Utah, Jan. 8, 1916 Dr. Wm. J. Holland Carnegie Museum Pittsburg, Pa. My dear Dr. Holland:- I have ordered shipped to you Box CCCXLII (342). Fortunately this box contains the four good turtles which we collected near White River in November, 1915. I have told Mr. Rasmussen to put it on at Bonanza and take it to Watson where he will ship it to you by freight. There are four other small specimens in the box but these will not add greatly to the freight charges and it would not by any means pay to disturb them before shipping. I am not a turtle man but one or two of the specimens give me the impression of being new. On a separate leaf I give contents of Box 342. Yours as Ever, Earl Douglass
