"The first time ever". It needs more work, and I intend to put my man on with others I hope to enlist in due season. I had man hired for year but he was unable to work for over 3 mos. and had no man when we built road. I don't know just what you infer by my private affairs but I mention this as I wish to personally do my part. We have to have a road however for shipping. We nearly had one wagon go off into the river from the Blue Dug Way, and we must make it safe.
