My dear Dr. Holland:-

Some people are coming from Vernal and I will have a chance to send letters so will just "drop you a line".

The axis of No. 240 was only a couple of feet from the jaw with teeth. It may be some little time before we know much more about the skull as it looks now as if about four blocks should be removed before we attempt to take out the skull.

The presence of the axis so near where the posterior base of the skull should be seems a wonderfully good indication.

To morrow is the 7th anniversary of the discovery of the quarry.
