Jensen, Utah, Sept. 21, 1916 My dear Dr. Holland:- I wired and wrote to you some time ago about the skull or part of the skull of No. 240. The block which contains this skull -- or jaw at least -- is now removed, but it was lying in such a position and the condition of the matrix is such that it was not for us to try to find how much we had, so we will never know the completeness of the find until you have it worked out in the laboratory. It was lying beneath caudal vertebrae and in such a position that we had to take up a good sized block with a considerable number of other bones to get it complete and, as far as possible, free from injury. When we turned the block over a half dozen or more of the large teeth were seen but not in place in the jaw. As we saw so little of the bone itself there is a possibility that this is the lower jaw. If so we might yet find the skull complete, but my belief is that in this block is a good
