Jensen, Utah, Oct. 4, 1916 Dr. Wm. J. Holland Pittsburg, Pa. My dear Dr. Holland:- As I stated in a previous letter, the greater portion of the skeleton of Apatosaurus -- No. 240, has now been removed from the rocky ledge. We have struck a new skeleton -- a Stegosaurus close by no. 240. This bids fair now to be an entire skeleton. If it does not go too far below the bottom of the cut it ought to come out quite easily and quickly. I do not know what you are having worked out now but this will be of interest to you if you are planning to mount a skeleton of Stegosaurus. As we are in the part of the quarry where heads as well as otherwise complete skeletons are in fashion we hope to get a skull of Stegosaurus.
