I am sending you a rough sketch of a portion of the quarry so that you can better understand present operations. It shows extent of cut in which we are now working; extent of bone layer exposed; position of Apatosaurus, No. 240; and of Stegosaurus No. 270; also where neck and ribs of immense Dinosaur (150B) were found.

I plan to take out No. 270 and then work out bone-layer eastward following extension of cut and trying to find more of 150B.

We had a dry summer, but it is wet and rainy now.
