I have been doing a laborers work myself, using hammer, drills, shovel, crow bar, etc. besides working some times at the face and doing the more careful work around bones. I get ducedly [sic] tired sometimes but my health is good and being young still I soon get rested.

	We had to leave a staging of loose rock for a shelf to work on and we have torn off the whole weathered portion of the cliff from the old quarry to the eastern dumping ground besides a lot of the face rock, so I have employed several laborers to clear out this mass of rock and they are getting well along with it. I think I can keep them at this until it is finished.
