Every bone we have seen is distinctly "sauropodous" in character but we have not yet come to the tail or the hind limbs, so I would not like to assert that they are not Carnivorous. We have been uncovering a sauropod tail but it is in the underlying stratum, or layer. In this former specimen the shoulder blade is nearly or quite in place and the humerus practically articulated with it, a thing I have not observed before. This is one of the things which you noted for me to observe on your first visit to the quarry. I cannot make any statements yet as to the radius, ulna and foot. The present indications are that the thing was almost completely
