Jensen, Utah, Oct. 6, 1919 Dr. Wm. J. Holland Carnegie Museum Pittsburg, Pa. My dear Dr. Holland:- I am intending to write to you at considerable length when I get a little time and get my thought back to their regular channels. The severe illness of my sister at present has demanded so much of my time and attention and has caused so much anxiety that I would not trust myself to write. We hope or believe now that conditions are in her favor and that she will soon be better. I wish to give you as clearly as possible the conditions here so you may "the better judge". We have had some rain at last but too late to help this years crops. I have an opportunity to send mail so will not write further. Yours Sincerely, Earl Douglass
