We have not had such a long hot dry season as we had last year and crops are good in the basin. There is plenty to eat and for feed but money is scarce. Mr. Douglass seems to be improving in health and my sister seems to be about holding her own. Mrs. Douglass and I are teaching Gawin and another boy of about the same age who is staying with us. I hope that your health is good and you are enjoying life and your work. I have not heard directly from the Museum for some time. Hope Mrs. Stribling is comfortable. Yours Truly, Earl Douglass
