October 29, 1920 Mr. Earl Douglass I owe you a very sincere apology for not having replied before this to your letter of September 25 enclosing a letter form Mrs. Cooley of Mack, Colorado. I would dearly have loved to go out as suggested to address the Colorado Teacher's Association and to have doen a lot of other things, but I have been simply overwhelmed with work of such importance and making such demands upon my time that I have not even been able to keep up with my correspondence. Please express to Mrs. Cooley my very kind regards and tell her I hope some time in the future to form her acquaintence and do so something alosn the lines she requests.
