mammals, fossils in the Green River shales and fossil skulls and mammals in the Wasatch. The finding of mammals in the Wasatch in this locality is new. The locality can be reached from here in three hours or less. Shall search the ground more thoroughly when the ground gets dry.

	We are having a beautiful winter here. Have had very little snow and that gone except on north slopes and only a little there.

	I received the splendid Christmas present you sent and we all enjoy reading it. it is an unusually interesting book.
